I Hate Being Sick!!!

For the past week now I have been sick with whatever. I think that this could have been the worst cold that I have ever had in the history of colds that I have had. It all started on Saturday with a sore throat. Not a big deal right......... wrong! Because then throughout Saturday my sore throat had steadily gotten worse until I felt like utter crap. The thing is, I still went out that night to go pick up a pizza for my family to eat for dinner. Was that a smart move? I really don't think so, but hey it's all in the past, right? By Sunday all I wanted to do or say was ehh. Monday was school and I thought oh joy. I come down stairs after getting ready, sit down at the table, take one bite out of my cookies and cream pop-tart, and think, "Oh god I am going to barf!" Luckily for me and the few of you who might of actually read this, I didn't. All I could do after that was stare at my pop-tart, not eating another bite. Well my mom found me like this and said, "Why don't you go back upstairs and get you pj's on, your staying home today." Tuesday, back to school for me, but sadly all I wanted was to be at home in my warm and comfy bed asleep. The rest of the week went by sort of like that, with the occasional body-ache, the stuffy nose, barking cough, and bleary, watery eyes. Now that is why I hate being sick.

ODE: To Snow Days

Yes, I know sadly we have not had a snow day this week, but fear not, for we might have one whenever we have one. I don't know about you but on snow days I seem to find myself working on homework that I haven't finished or completely forgot about. Now I know snow days are supposed to be fun also, but I can never seem to step outside to enjoy it. One reason may be that it is too cold out. The other, well I am just too lazy to go anywhere but my couch. So heres to you snow days, and the laziness that you bring me.
